Sunday Mass at Mercy Home

Sunday mornings, 7:30 a.m.
WCIU, Channel 26, Chicago

Welcome to the Parish of the Airwaves

Launched in 1992 at the request of Joseph Cardinal Bernardin, Sunday Mass at Mercy Home is the most popular televised Catholic Mass in the Chicago area, with 60,000 faithful viewers tuning in every Sunday morning to share the Eucharist.

Sunday Mass at Mercy Home, which is filmed right here at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, is a source of spiritual nourishment for those who are unable to leave their homes because of age or ailment to attend Mass.

Please join our “parish of the airwaves” on Sunday mornings.  If you know someone who is homebound and could benefit from learning about this great ministry, please invite them to join us every Sunday morning on WCIU, Channel 26 at 7:30 a.m. We are always delighted to celebrate the Eucharist with new friends!

Thank you again for your support of Sunday Mass at Mercy Home…we simply could not provide this spiritual aid for our parishioners without your help and unwavering generosity.  Please know that your gracious support is a tremendous source of comfort to our homebound, ailing, and elderly parishioners.
